- What is the heated humidifier?
The heated humidifier is an optional part of the CPAP. It reduces the irritation that may be caused by CPAP therapy. Traditional CPAP devices are known to irritate the nasal passages and throat. Heated humidifiers can eliminate this dryness. The humidifier can last for a minimum of 8 hours to humidify every night. - If we adjust the pressure, will we be able to get the benefit of complete therapy?
The adjustable pressure is to allow more comfort and easy sleep to patients. Instead of complete air pressure, you can adjust the machine to start at a lower pressure. It will gradually ramp up the pressure after every 5 minutes to ease you into the therapy until it has achieved the complete pressure level. This way, you will have the proper pressure therapy while enjoying an undisturbed sleep.
