The Philips Respironics ComfortGel Blue FULL Face CPAP / BiPAP Mask with FREE Headgear blue gel cushion is soft, conforming alternative to a traditional full face mask cushions. The gel cushion easily clips into the silicone Comfort Flap for protection. The silicone flap protects the cushion from wear and tear to increase longevity. It also improves the seal of the full face mask system.The ComfortGel Full Face Mask is intended to provide an interface for application of CPAP or bi-level therapy to patients. The Sure Seal Technology (SST) Flap provides a membrane-thin layer over the gel cushion to improve seal and make cleaning the mask quick and easy. The CPAP elbow rotates 360-degrees to allow movement throughout the night with less restriction. The diffuser on this full face mask is exceptionally quiet and successfully directs air away from the patient and their partner. This is achieved through smaller exhalation ports. The swivel quick release tabs easily disconnect the CPAP mask from the tubing for greater nighttime mobility. This allows the patient to get up in the middle of the night without readjusting their headgear. The ball and socket clips place the headgear at the optimal angle based on the patient’s unique head shape.

Fitting Guide
Fitting and Adjusting your ComfortGel Full Face CPAP Mask
- Open the headgear to a large size setting and adjust the forehead arm to the highest position. To adjust, gently squeeze the arms of the StabilitySelector and slide the arm upwards.
- Disconnect one, or both of the Quick Clips. Place the mask cushion against the face by first setting the base of the cushion under the lower lip then roll the cushion up the nose. Be sure the mouth remains slightly open. Pull the headgear on over your head. Connect the Quick Clips if detached.
- Using both hands, adjust the top headgear strap first by using the headgear tabs on the headgear. The forehead pad should be touching your forehead lightly. Adjust the ComfortGel Full 14 bottom strap so that the mask is sitting gently on your face.
- Connect the tubing that is included with your CPAP or bi-level device to the swivel elbow on the mask.
- Turn on the airflow.
- Lie down and breathe normally. Be sure the mouth remains slightly open. If the forehead pad does not rest comfortably against your forehead, Tighten the top headgear strap. If there are any air leaks make any final adjustments. Some air leakage is normal. Do not overtighten the headgear.

The CPAP is fine but the size must have been in the fine print. I ended up with a small. Could be my fault for not watching more closely.

Mask is comfortable, and fitment is good, but the seal made my nose break out a bit the first few nights I wore it.
