BMC Medical SpO₂ Kit for Luna G3 BiPAP Machines

The BMC Medical SpO₂ Kit for Luna G3 BiPAP Machines is designed exclusively for compatible BMC Luna G3 BiPAP machines with a round communications port. This accessory provides continuous, non-invasive monitoring of blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and pulse rate (PR) during sleep therapy, allowing users and healthcare providers to review valuable overnight oxygen data alongside therapy results.  The SpO₂ sensor connects directly to the communications port on compatible Luna G3 BiPAP machines and displays oxygen saturation and pulse rate in real time on the machine’s color LCD screen. When used with RESmart Sleep Therapy Software, detailed overnight reports can be reviewed to help evaluate therapy effectiveness. Designed for patients weighing more than 40 kg (88 lbs).  Why use the BMC SpO₂ Kit? Monitoring oxygen saturation during CPAP or BiPAP therapy provides additional information beyond airflow alone. The BMC SpO₂ Kit helps record overnight oxygen levels and pulse rate, making it a valuable accessory for patients and clinicians who wish to evaluate oxygen trends during sleep therapy.

Important Compatibility Notice

This SP-100 SpO₂ Kit is ONLY compatible with BMC Luna G3 BiPAP machines equipped with a round communications port. It is NOT compatible with Luna G3 CPAP or APAP machines that use the square communications port. If your Luna G3 machine has a square communications port, you will need the SG-300 SpO₂ Kit, which is sold separately.

The system samples SpO₂ signals approximately 50 times per second (50 Hz) and updates readings every second for reliable overnight monitoring. If an abnormal condition is detected, SpO₂ values will display as blank to ensure safe operation.When used with RESmart Sleep Therapy Software, the SpO₂ Kit provides detailed overnight reports including:

• Minimum SpO₂
• Average SpO₂
• Oxygen Desaturation Index (ODI)
• Average Pulse Rate (BPM)

These reports provide additional oxygen monitoring data alongside your sleep therapy results.
