USER MANUAL
- Starting therapy
- Open the carry bag and attach the strap (with the zip side up and facing outwards).
- Turn the oxygen port into an upright position and attach the nasal cannula.
- Return the oxygen port to a horizontal position and check to ensure the cannula is secure.
- Press and hold the power button to turn Mobi on.
- Check the display screen to ensure Mobi is set to your prescribed setting.
- Put the nasal cannula on, with the prongs in your nostrils and tubing around your ears.
- Adjust your cannula to a secure, comfortable length and start to breathe normally.
- Check the display screen to ensure therapy has started. A blinking wave symbol indicates breath is detected and oxygen is dosed.
- It is recommended you wait 5 minutes to ensure therapy is working correctly before closing the bag.
- Using the external battery
- Place the external battery into the side pocket of the carry bag.
- Connect the external battery to the external battery port on Mobi by threading the adaptor (flat side up) through the small opening in the bag.
- Close up the side pocket.
- Open the main compartment and connect Mobi to an AC or DC power supply.
- Check the display screen to ensure Mobi is charging. A power plug symbol with the words “Charging external” and a battery bar symbol with the letters “EXT” indicate the external battery is charging.
Maintenance
- Cleaning the fan vents
- Open the main compartment and check that Mobi is off.
- Unzip the side zip to release Mobi from its compartment.
- Lift Mobi out of the carry bag and set aside.
- Inspect the bag to ensure there is no build-up of lint or dust that could obstruct the flow of air through the mesh vents.
- Clean each of the bag’s mesh vent panels, inside and out, with a dry cloth.
- Once the bag is clean, inspect Mobi and ensure its fan vents are not obstructed by any lint or dust.
- Using a dry cotton swap, clean each of the fan vents individually.
- Place Mobi back inside the carry case when finished.
Note: It is recommended the bag mesh panels and Mobi vents be cleaned at least once a month.
